A selection of earlier industrial and product design work. These projects document a more technical side of my practice, including product development, furniture, digital modelling, rendering and manufacturing, and form part of the foundation from which my current practice has evolved.


2024/ COMAL Stool: A tribute to Mexican female street cooks

Comal Stool explores gender roles within Mexican street cuisine through a furniture object inspired by the traditional cooking comal, a flat griddle central to preparing corn-based foods. Drawing from research into the historical relationship between women, maize and food preparation, the stool celebrates the often-overlooked role of female street cooks in preserving Mexican culinary identity.

2022/ TILA Desk: Ready to assemble (RTA) workspace designed for students

Developed through ethnographic research, TILA translates students’ needs for order, space and professionalism into an affordable, multifunctional home workspace. Designed and built within a strict low-budget constraint for OfficeMax.

2022/ Framed Penguin: Editorial office and furniture design 


Framed Penguin transforms a three-century-old Florentine foundry into a playful editorial workspace, using spatial planning, color and custom furniture while preserving the building’s existing architectural character.

2023/ Exodia: Wearable mobility-assistance device


Exodia is a passive exoskeletal device supporting leg mobility for older adults on slopes and stairs. A spring-assisted mechanism provides additional movement support while remaining discreet beneath clothing.
